   In the First Age, Men who entered Beleriand from the East in the time after the Dagor Bragollach, fought on both sides in the Nirnaeth Arnoediad, and were afterwards given Hithlum as a dwelling-place by Morgoth, where they oppressed the remnant of the People of Hador. Called in Hithlum Incomers. Also called Swarthy Men.
   In the Third Age, a general name for the waves of Men driving in upon Gondor from the eastern regions of Middle-earth (see Wainriders, Balchoth).

   Wild Men out of the East.
   A general name for the races of Men from the unknown East of Middleearth, who were a constant foe of the Free Peoples, from the treachery of Ulfang in the Nirnaeth Arnoediad of the First Age to their frequent attacks against Gondor in the Third Age.
